Key populations, such as men who have sex with men, sex workers, and people who inject drugs, are disproportionately affected by HIV. To address their needs, we must:
- Reduce stigma and discrimination: Promote understanding and acceptance of key populations.
- Provide tailored prevention services: Develop and implement prevention programs that are culturally relevant and accessible to key populations.
- Expand access to testing and treatment: Ensure that key populations have access to high-quality HIV testing and treatment services.
- Address social and economic barriers: Support policies that address poverty, homelessness, and substance abuse, which can increase vulnerability to HIV.
